Personalized Manual and Massage Therapy that Supports the Whole Body.

 THE APPROACH

You are a dynamic person. So why shouldn’t your session reflect your individual needs? We address the body as a sum of the parts and not just the pieces.

Firstly, we will identify your needs and a goal for your session. If you just want to relax and unwind, then I’ve got you. If you have a specific injury or issue you want to address, we are going to take more of a team approach: we will identify, and interrupt pain patterns while taking into consideration range of motion and guarding behaviors. I’ll also encourage you to consider mindset, behavior, and environmental variables that might be indicated in your progress.

Manual & Massage Therapy

I integrate modalities such as Myofascial, Neuromuscular/Trigger Point, Neuromuscular Cupping, Craniosacral, Orthopedic, Adaptable Polarity, Acupressure, Swedish, Lymphatic, and more.  I can confidently work on you fully clothed, throughout pregnancy, or at various stages of rehabilitation from injury or surgical procedures (as indicated by your primary provider).  I am also trained to apply kinesiology tape and cupping for further support.

60 Minutes: $120
90 Minutes: $175

Self-Treatment Sessions

Imagine getting a tension headache at work or spending the evening hobbling around at home because you just can’t get in for a massage. I’ve been there! I’ve got a solution. I can teach you to target and treat your problem areas on your own. Managing pain with these techniques often helps your mood (endorphin party!) and can help spare your internal organs from the assaults of pain medication. One of the most effective ways to see bodywork results quickly (and to make them last) is to learn self-treatment techniques and apply them frequently in the comfort and convenience of your home, travel, and work spaces!

75 minute personalized session: $135

Includes personalized, printable resources to help you get started and stay on track.

 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • It’s complicated. I am in network with Premera BCBS and am working on Aetna and TriWest. You are welcome to request reimbursement through your insurance, but it is never guaranteed. You will likely need a prescription from your primary care provider and my clinical notes will have to prove we are working toward a specific diagnosis or pattern indicated by your provider over a set period of time. We can totally talk about your options, as they exist, but I do not personally get involved in billing your insurance for you at this time.

  • Unfortunately, no. There are stairs to access my office, so please let me know ahead of time if you need assistance or different accommodations. I do not do house calls.

  • I follow updated CDC guidelines for health care settings/providers. I maintain high cleanliness standards for the office, in general. If you want a full list of my protocols, I'm happy to email you a more comprehensive list. I steer clear of politics, as this is a public health issue.

  • Bodywork includes massage, but also accommodates for other techniques that don’t look a lot like massage (yet still address soft tissue function). Craniosacral, manual traction, orthopedic, and cupping are good examples of such modalities massage therapists are allowed to use under their license as manual therapies.
